Arizona

7 Falls, Bear Canyon Loop

Tucson; amazing waterfalls, swimming holes, and desert views; 18 miles 3,000ft

Weavers Needle loop

Superstition Wilderness; a remote feeling part of the desert 12.5miles 3,000ft

Ribbon Falls

Grand Canyon; horseshoe with this waterfall; 30 miles 6,100ft

Classic Canyon

Grand Canyon; either direction hurts so good! 21 miles 5,000ft

Windgate/Bell Pass Loop

Phoenix; a great loop from Gateway Trailhead 9.5 miles, 2000ft elevation gain

Tom’s Thumb

Paradise Valley; adding a little extra for a side tour, extended loop from Gateway 13 miles, 3,000ft

Black Canyon Trail

Up to 70 miles point to point. This segment 25 miles, 2,400ft

Three Pass Loop

Sedona; A desert classic linking 3 Passes 19 miles, 3,800ft

Utah

Sylvester Trail to Castleton Tower

Castle Valley; a less known trail up to these iconic towers 10.25 miles, 2,600ft

Chesler Park Loop

Canyonlands; hopscotching through the desert and sliding through slots 11.5 miles 2,000ft

Druid Arch

Canyonlands; feels like a secret world back here 11 miles, 1,200ft

Colorado- high country San Juans

Tour de Engineer

San Juan Mountains; a high elevation loop around Engineer Mountain with option to add the summit! 17 miles, 3400ft

Wilson Traverse/Wilson Grand Slam

Outside of Telluride; this route includes 3x14ers (Mt Wilson, El Diente, and Wilson Peak) 20 miles, 8000ft

Sneffles Highline

Telluride; an exellent half marathon above town 13 miles 3,800ft

Blackface Loop

Lizard Head Wilderness; a cool loop under the Lizard 11.5 miles 2,700ft

Bridge of Heaven

Ouray; named for a reason! 20 miles 6,000ft

Blue Lakes + Sneffles

Ridgeway; starting with Blue lakes basin, add the SW ridge to Sneffles for some fun scrambling 12.5 miles 5,000ft

Vestal Basin/Peak

San Juan Mountains; deep in the Weminuche Wilderness the infamous Wham Ridge 15.5 miles 6,000ft

Hope Lake to Ophir

San Juan Mountains; point to point stopping by Island Lake 14.5 miles 4,200ft

Fontana Lakes Loop

Lollipop route starting at Maggies Peak Trailhead near Emerald Bay with so many tempting lakes along the way! 12 miles, 3,000ft

Dick’s Pass

A pass (and peak option) pretty accessible in the Desolation Wilderness. Many options for routes, this one routes to Tallac and back for lots of runnable vert. 21 miles 5.600ft

Pyramid Peak

Straight up grind along the creek then a talus field to the summit. A good option for some major vert reps! 7 miles, 4,000ft vert

Eagle Falls Trail

Stunning (but popular) trail with the classic Sierra granite steps into the Desolation wilderness but once you’re out there it’s pretty desolate! Only a few miles up but can make it as long as you want cruising on the PCT. This route an O&B to Stony Ridge Lake on the Tahoe Yosemite Trail. 22 miles 4,600ft
