Growing up as a gymnast and dancer, movement has always been a necessary element in my life. In college, rock climbing turned on my fascination for the outdoors. For the past decade Colorado has been my home base for training and adventures. Initially having a hesitant relationship with snow (being from Phoenix, Arizona), for living in a ski town I finally decided I needed to adopt a winter sport. At first Skimo was a way to train and get through the winter, but soon skiing and racing became the pursuit.

Nutrition

Being an endurance athlete, EATING is of great importance which requires lots of time spent in my kitchen. Have struggled with an eating disorder in the past, I have realized the crucial importance of nutrition for health and for optimally keeping my body in motion. In my blog I write about nutrition topics and share some of my favorite recipes.
